Check it out:
  • A sedentary lifestyle will result in around 300g of muscle loss each year.
  • Over five years, that equates to about 1.5kg.
  • As we get older, muscle is harder to regain.
  • Almost certainly, any muscle lost will be replaced by fatty tissue. Usually in surplus.
  • As we get older, this gets harder to budge.

So. You know.. probably a good idea to step away from the computer and out into the sunshine.
