Happy New Year!
Another one has flown by and, for me at least, it has been a doozy. Beginning on the other side of the world, in our [then] home in freezing snowy Boston, with a roly poly baby on my hip. Ending in humid Brisbane, on my parents’ verandah, with my sweaty toddler snoring in the background. And in between? In between there was a year’s worth of busy, interesting, colourful life. Lots of travel in the early part of the year. A homecoming to Sydney. Return to work [for me] and new business ventures. A huge travel and work schedule for Jon. Lots of new teeth and many milestones for Molly. And in between, working out how to juggle all these things / find balance as best we could!
There have been a lot of changes over the past 12 months, some better than others. Personally and professionally, I’ve faced some particularly prickly challenges, which hasn’t been easy, but has almost certainly been worth it. Growth. Learning. All that.
Now, however, we’re done. The year that was has passed, and we’ve started on a fresh new calendar for 2016.
Bring it.

We just spent a week with my in laws, on their property up north, and it was excellent. There is no remedy like time with family, time to rest, time in nature, and plenty of sunshine!
