naturopathy

Naturopathy is a holistic system of medicine that recognises the body’s inherent ability to heal itself. A naturopath uses dietary changes, lifestyle advice, and herbal or nutritional supplementation to support these natural processes. Individualised treatment is a key tenet of naturopathy, as no two people are the same, and recommendations are always tailored to the needs of each person.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves the placement of very fine needles into precise points on the body to benefit a person’s health. These needles are not painful or uncomfortable. In fact, treatments are usually very relaxing. Acupuncture is part of a larger system of medicine known as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and can be used for a wide range of acute and chronic ailments.

Postpartum Home Visits

These in-home health appointments are designed to support women and their families’ health during the fourth trimester; as they adapt physically, mentally, and emotionally to their new family unit. The intention of this service is to create a continuum of care during what is often a time of great upheaval. This ensures that each new mother receives the support she needs to take care of herself, her baby, and her family.
