End of year update

So. Another year is coming to a close and WHAT a year it’s been!
Geeeez, I tell you, I thought 2020 was a corker — for me: an international move, pandemic, awful miscarriage, intra-state relocation, new clinical practice, emergency surgery… amongst other things! But turns out 2021 had some big plans too!
Anyway. We made it. We’re here.
And we’re alright! I feel lucky and I feel grateful.

One of the (many) things I have felt grateful full over this year has been the beautiful community we’ve begun to build here in the Northern Rivers… as well as the busy practice I’ve stepped into at the Lismore Birth House. It’s a real joy!

It has also been immensely busy and we need a break.
So we’re taking one!
We also want to see our families… and now that the borders are opening up, we are going to take that opportunity to head north, to visit the mums and dads, siblings and grandparents, nieces, nephews, and friends that we’ve missed so much.

I am working up until Friday 17th December and will be taking most of the school holidays off, coming back to the clinic in the last week of January. I appreciate what a privilege it is to be able to have this chunk of time to spend with loved ones and will be making the most of it! I’m looking forward to the break and coming back in the new year, refreshed… and no doubt with many more freckles!

If you want to catch up with me before I go, there are still some private appointments available, as well spots in the community clinic… but get in touch sooner rather than later to ensure we can find a time.
You can book yourself in via the online schedule… or just message me if you can’t see a time in the calendar (I will try and fit you in!) Otherwise… I look forward to reconnecting again in the new year.

I’m looking forward to lots of running, playing and swimming with these two xoxox
